The Bougainvillea Clinique was founded by Orlando Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Hartog and his wife, Michelle Glowacki Hartog, RN, to accomplish a unique vision:  bring together all the components necessary for looking and feeling our best into one place.  To accomplish this, of course The Bougainvillea Clinique is a top-flight freestanding surgical center with all the equipment and personnel necessary to perform cosmetic surgeries like Breast Augmentation with the highest level of expertise, precision, and safety for the best possible result.  But it is also dedicated to general health and wellness, including a LaserSkin Institute and Medispa, and an exercise and nutrition education center.  Our approach to getting you the best breast augmentation begins long before you enter our operatory, and can continue the rest of your life.

Our Surgical Facilities

Our surgical facilities are not an office surgery facility, but a freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).  The Aesthetic Surgery Center of Winter Park is state-licensed and federally certified.  State licensing is by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (ACHA), the same authority which issues licenses to hospitals. 

Federal certification of our ASC requires us to meet or exceed over 2,000 stringent standards in quality assurance, risk management, emergency management, and environmental and life safety set forth by the U.S. Government.  The ASC licensure and certification is granted based on a strict adherence to all applicable standards for a major hospital.  It is enforced by a series of unannounced inspections by the federal and state governments to ensure adherence to the specifications of licensure.

Comfort, Safety, Privacy

Our surgery center is dedicated to Plastic Surgery and addresses patient comfort, safety, and privacy unmatched by any practice in the region.  Patient comfort and safety are of paramount concern at the Aesthetic Surgery Center.  Anesthesia is provided by Board Certified MD Anesthesiologists and supervised Nurse Anesthetists only.  Our medical staff is fully certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  Fully automated computer-controlled air conditioning, medical gas and backup electrical power systems help us ensure your safety, even comfort, in the event of adverse circumstances like inclement weather or damage to the power grid.

We additional provide for the convenience and privacy of our patients.  The Aesthetic Surgery Center adjoins the office where consultations and follow-up care are provided.  And we offer our patients overnight recovery facilities for your convenience, privacy, and peace of mind.  We can even arrange extended stays at a nearby facility, so you don't have to return to your daily life until you are ready.
